Terms of Service

Last updated July 24, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Wakelore (β€œWakelore,” β€œwe,” β€œus”) for using the app at wakelore.app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Wakelore.

What Wakelore is

Wakelore is a private dream journal with AI-generated interpretations, meant for self-reflection and entertainment. You log dreams and, when you choose, receive a reading generated by an AI model.

Not professional advice

Dream interpretation is not scientifically validated. Wakelore's readings are for reflection and entertainment only. They are not medical, psychological, mental-health, legal, or other professional advice, and are not a substitute for a qualified professional. Don't rely on them to make important decisions. If you're struggling or in crisis, please contact a licensed professional or a local emergency service.

Your account

Provide accurate information, keep your sign-in secure, and know that you're responsible for activity on your account. Accounts are for individuals β€” one person each.

Your content

Your dreams and writing are yours. You keep all ownership. You grant us only the limited permission needed to operate the service β€” to store your content and, when you request a reading, send the relevant parts to our AI provider to generate it. We don't claim ownership of your journal and don't use it to train AI models. Please don't submit other people's personal information without their consent.

AI-generated readings

Readings are produced by an AI model. They can be inaccurate, inconsistent, or just off β€” that's expected. Treat them as a prompt for reflection, not as fact.

Acceptable use

Don't use Wakelore for anything illegal, don't try to break or overload it, don't attempt to access other people's accounts, and don't resell or scrape the service. We may limit or suspend accounts that do.

Plans, billing & cancellation

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or end access if these terms are violated or to protect the service.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Wakelore is provided β€œas is,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we aren't liable for indirect or incidental damages.

Changes & governing law

We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and, for significant changes, try to notify you in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
